The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, demons, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The latest chapter ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of characters who will split off from the central cast to undertake their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose death started the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and fled to a secure base in the remote area, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as important members in the influential clan could help the team enter places they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a life debt to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the rulers that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to head to the northern region in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to round up the Questers and Planners groups.

Audiences can anticipate learning which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
